Nicole Kidman is on August cover of Vogue and people aren't having it

"All you haters… When were you last given a cover of Vogue? Damn people have a lot of negative energy..!!" That's what designer Marc Jacobs said in defence of Nicole Kidman, Vogue's August cover model. She's seen looking #flawless eyeing the camera over her shoulder in a black sequenced Marc Jacob dress. Nothing to fret about here, right? Think again. People have been calling the cover "boring" and a "major disappointment." The Huffington Post pointed out one user who had this kind thing to say: "This is VERY boring indeed. She looks sad and tired and the cover reads ‘happier than ever’ — good one! The pose is the same as Sandra Bullock indeed and wearing the same brand…" Okay, now. Historically proven and now expected with Nicole, are the slew of comments pointing out her too-flawless-for-life face. Those were seen on Instagram and they're harsh. This isn't the first time Vogue has received cover model backlash. Last month, Cara Delevingne's cover interview for the magazine was criticized for allegedly dismissing "the model's fluid sexuality as a passing fancy," we reported at the time. What do you think about this story? Are people allowed to hate or should we be applying a filter to these #nofilter comments? Dish with us below.
