The most shockingly sexy dresses of 2016

In 2016, celebrities took the plunge when it came to their necklines. They were clad in barely-there bottoms, sheer styles and soaring slits. Take singer Manika — for example — who tempts a wardrobe malfunction at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 15, 2016 in Los Angeles.

Céline Dion: French-Canadian icon, your mom’s go-to singer when she has the car radio to herself and the baddest b*tch around the globe—like how she just gave Donald Trump’s invite to perform at his upcoming inauguration a hard pass (boy, bye). Her glorious voice soundtracked the epic luv story between Jack and Rose (and it still brings us all of the tears!), her Vegas residency show has made over $171 million at the box office, PLUS she just announced her 26th studio album and we are struggling to pick our jaws up from the ground. Her philanthropic work is totally inspiring and when she recently sported a Titanic hoodie she also proved she has a sense of humour about herself that we always suspected. What’s not to love? Arnold Schwarzenegger may be an action hero and a bodybuilding champion, but he still struggles with self-image. “When I look in the mirror, I throw up,” The New Celebrity Apprentice boss, 69, says in the February issue of Cigar Aficionado. “And I was already so critical of myself, even when I was in top physical shape. I’d look in the mirror after I won one Mr. Olympia after another and think, ‘How did this pile of s— win?’ ” “I never saw perfection,” he continued. “There was always something lacking. I could always find a million things wrong with myself and that’s what got me back into the gym — because I started out with that mentality.” Schwarzenegger says he currently works out every day. “My day cannot start without doing something physically,” he told the magazine. “And I work out at night before bed — cardio, weight-training. I want to stay in shape as long as I can.” WATCH: Have You Ever Wanted to Own Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Truck? Schwarzenegger says he uses his self-esteem issues as fuel for his workouts. “I do lack confidence, but I do the reps and do them enough that the thing itself will be doable when it’s time,” he says. “When I was competing at bodybuilding, I did so many hours of reps — on the weights, practicing the poses — that when I got onstage, I was comfortable and confident. The more reps you do, the more you look smooth and convincing. The more you do it, the better you get. That’s how you gain confidence.”

Hero saves dog from freezing waters

It might be time to rethink the doggie paddle for something a little more weather-proof. A man in the city of Simferopol in Crimea was caught on video saving someone’s precious pooch from becoming a pupsicle. The dog itself couldn’t manage to escape from a body of water located in Gagarin Park, which was half-frozen and surrounded by ice. In the video, the man strips down to his skivvies—a tasteful pair of boxers—tests out the icy waters, then drops in and swims to the doggie in distress. According to a Moldova news site, the man wasn’t even the dog’s owner—just a kind passerby who happened to be in the park. The site also mentioned that at the time of the dog’s rescue, the temperature had dropped to a mere negative 6 degrees Celsius, so around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. At least he had his burning love for small mammals to keep him warm. Watch the full video below: YouTube: Спасение собаки в Гагаринском парке г. Симферополь H/T Mashable

Report: Prince Harry's girlfriend has gotten Queen's approval

Prince Harry's new girlfriend Meghan Markle has already gotten the royal thumbs up from the head lady in charge. According to a new report in Us Weekly, Queen Elizabeth II is "fully supportive" of her grandson's relationship with the "Suits" actress. The news comes after reports that Meghan has already charmed Prince William and gotten his seal of approval. Meghan has yet to meet Her Majesty, but that isn't out of the ordinary as it took William's wife Duchess Kate five years for an introduction. "[The Queen] is delighted to see Harry in a loving relationship," a source tell Us. Meghan may score an introduction sooner than you think, too, because Harry could be in this for the long run. Harry's pal said, "I can see them engaged by the spring. He's head over heels." Like she's doing with Harry, Meghan is capturing the hearts of the royal staff, as well. The report claims that the actress has full access to senior staff for navigating the public romance and she's consulted with them when she's felt overwhelmed. "There have been times where Meghan's been unsure [of protocol]," the mag's source said, "and having a direct line to Harry's most trusted aides has been a godsend." The aids have even spoken to her about using social media, now that her profile has certainly increased. "Being careful not to reveal locations or send the wrong message is something she's slowly gotten used to," the source added. Aside from Harry's staff, Meghan had someone else she could pluck advice from, as well, in the form of Sophie Trudeau, the wife of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. Before becoming Mrs. Trudeau, Sophie was a news correspondent for Canada's eTalk. "Sophie went through a similar situation," a separate source told the mag. "She was a television host and focused a lot on pop culture — then she became the story herself!… Mentor might be too big of a word, but Sophie's unique insight has been so helpful."
