A new survey has finally proved it: women like scruff. A dating site polled their 9,127 members in over 22 countries and found that 27 per cent of women said that their perfect man had facial hair while only nine per cent said they enjoyed the clean-shaven look. But that's not all ladies. The survey also found that the ultimate lover is a Jake-Gyllenhaal type hunk who is "tall, elegantly dressed and the lucky owner of a pair of smouldering eyes," the Telegraph reports. For the men on the other hand, a mature personality didn't rank high on the list. Only 3.9 per cent of dudes said they were looking for that in the perfect lover.
